Software for the small contractor April 14, 2008

We’re smart guys over here.  We really are.  We’ve done a lot of research to try and determine not just what software to write, but who needs it.  And we can’t get away from the fact that the small contractor is just NOT taken care of in terms of computerized solutions.

There seem to be products that fall into 2 categories:

- Software for small businesses that falls well short of meeting their needs

- Software that is full featured, but far too expensive (or complicated) for the small contractor

Well, enough of that.  We’ve developed some great software, all based on the web, specifically for the small contractor.  It does project management – but you don’t have be a professional project manager to use it.  It has scheduling – and it notifies everyone (via email, or text message) of changes that affect them.  It has full financials – but you don’t need to be an accountant (or even full understand accounting) to use it.  It has bid management, document management, reporting, marketing – all the things bigger companies get to do because they are willing to spend $10k to get started with software.  Only we just charge a low monthly use fee – and no setup fees.

Seems like a good idea to us.  Beta testing starting shortly, launch shortly after that.  Sign up for our waiting list if you are interested, or send us a note if you want to beta test.
